Visiting

Last week my sister was in town visiting. She moved from SC to CO when Addison was about 3 months. We miss her a lot, but she is a bit of a free spirit and a traveler, so I guess we should be use to it by now ::waves, hi sis:: Luckily the weather was pretty nice most of the time she was here, of course anything is better than the negative temps they were having in CO. We spent some of the time outside just soaking up the sun and the warmth.

Addison really enjoys looking into the sun. I'm sure it is not good for her eyes but she thinks it is funny. She also thinks it is funny when the wind blows.

Even with all the time my sister has been gone Addison still loves her. She only had a moment when we picked Angela up from the airport that she was like "who the heck is this person fawning all over me?"

Addison enjoyed someone else to keep her entertained. I'm sure she gets tired of seeing Mommy all the time. She likes to show off for other people. Plus my sister likes to fuss over her and tell her how cute she is.

On the days when it was raining and cold we spent a lot of time playing on Addison's play mat and entertaining ourselves. I found these old glasses I had from a Harry Potter thing and we were laughing because they sorta look like my sister's glasses so we wanted to get a picture with Addison and Angela wearing them. Addison was not quite as amused as we were and was very quick to rip them off of her face, this was the best I could get.

My mom came to visit while Angela was home too. We all went out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants Kim's Japanese. I had all intentions of getting some pictures from that night too but the little one had other plans. She did not like the restaurant at all. As soon as the man came out and started cooking she started screaming. I mean screaming and terrified so bad that I had to go to the front or either outside to keep her calm. Needless to say it was not a relaxing, nice dinner. I did finally realize it was the sizzling sound the grill makes that was freaking her out, and the fire. No more Japanese cook on the grill meals for us for a while.

Addison loved having her Aunt and Grandma visit and give her a ton of attention.
We also did some shopping since Angela says everything in CO is so expensive she can't afford it and where she lives there is no Ross, TJ Maxx or Marshalls around so she has no where to shop.
We also did some practice walking with the little one.

I am hoping that she will be able to fly back home for Addison's first birthday party. It is the end of the busy season for her job so hopefully it will all work out.
I was so nice to be able to spend some time with my family!
