So nice outside.....

Okay so not anymore, but it was on Sunday! It was right around 70 or so and nice and sunny and beautiful. Addison and I took advantage of the wonderful weather and decided to spend some time sitting in our front yard and watching all the people and animals out enjoying the weather with us. We live on a dead end street and we are the last house at the end so everyone comes all the way down to our house when they are out ridding bikes and it keeps Addison very entertained.

She also likes watching the birds and squirrels that hang out around our house, we have a lot of them since we are right on the greenway and have a lot of trees and grassy areas around our house.

I did bring out some toys for her to play with but if course she saw something else she wanted and decided to go for it. Did I mention that she FINALLY learned to pull herself forward instead of pushing herself back when she is trying to get to something. She just started doing this on Sunday. She still can not fully crawl but she gets on her belly and pulls with her hands, progress, I thought she was never going to learn it! Now if she can just keep her knees under her and move forward.

Look at how happy she is to get my phone?! She is obsessed with this thing I tell you, and it's not like I have games or anything on it. In fact I lock the screen so she can't call anyone or anything so she only can see the picture I have of her on it and it goes off after 10 seconds. Maybe she just likes looking at herself, crazy kid!

As we were sitting there our neighbors came from the greenway, they were trying to teach their oldest how to ride a bike without training wheels. So they decided to chill with us on the blanket and let the little ones play!

This is Addison's best friend I. This picture was cracking me up since it sorta looks like she is trying to smoke that stick! She was trying to eat everything she could get her hands on, including my camera and Addison. It is pretty funny to watch them together!

This is their oldest boy K. He was trying to be like I and go for a ride in the stroller. He was tired from practicing riding his bike like a big boy.

I am entering this one in Trendy Treehouse, Shadows theme. I love the way K is in the shadows of the stroller and how the shadows play off of the fact that he was pouting (does that make sense?)




Then he got mad because he kept interrupting his mom who was talking and he got in trouble. So he decided to pout in the stroller.
It was really nice to be able to just go outside and sit. Of course the bugs also thought it was nice and decided to come out and ruin our fun time. It seems like the mosquitoes never go away here! Oh well.
